The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will effectively communicate about the work that we do in ways that reflect Ideum’s unique abilities and culture. We develop custom software and hardware for museums, Fortune 500 companies, and top brands. We also have our own line of multitouch tables and touch displays that are sold worldwide. Ideum has an active R&D group that creates with emerging technology and implements cutting-edge installations. The ideal candidate will work directly with Ideum’s designers, developers, photography/video personnel, and producers however, they will also be a doer, working hands-on, on their own, and collaboratively with other staff to communicate through images, video, and text.
We are looking for a specialist who has demonstrated experience with marketing, photography and video, and who will bring energy and a prolific approach to publishing on our social media channels. We have a large presence on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and would like to grow in our other channels. In addition, the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will either directly participate in or assist our Creative Services group with producing portfolio pieces and blog posts. The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will have an eye for detail and the ability to produce attractive photographs and video. The candidate needs to be a prolific writer and to have a passion for promotion that cultivates company growth. This position requires a candidate who can work across departments and show leadership through example. The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator reports directly to Creative Director and Founder of Ideum. The effectiveness of the position will be measured through the quality of media gathered, the descriptions written, the placement and effectiveness of various posts and an increase in interest about our company’s products and services.
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in photography, video, writing, marketing, and social media outreach. Varying experience is preferred
Published work demonstrating photography, video and writing skills
Demonstrated written and excellent verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Dependability and commitment to results
Highly motivated, tenacious, a prolific publisher
Experience with GoogleAds, Facebook Ads, and other online advertising
Experience with Google Analytics
Degree in marketing, writing, journalism, photography, the arts or other related field
Experience with sales, a plus
Experience with technical writing, a plus
Experience with film shoots, a strong plus
Experience with 3D or advanced graphics, a plus
dKnowledge of PC or AV systems, a strong plus
Help organize various outreach efforts across departments and initiatives (hardware, industrial design, creative services, R&D)
Participate in media gathering: photography and video
Write blog posts portfolio pieces, descriptions, tags and keywords
Coordinate and help organize media gathering including video and photography shoots and writing by Ideum staff
Keep track of photo releases, oversee photography and video equipment and supplies
Participate and organize posting to various media channels including but not limited to: YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Vimeo, Pinterest
Help track ad performance and analytics

This is a full-time position (40 hours) on-site in Corrales, New Mexico. The position includes full health benefits (after 90 days), Dental insurance, plus long-term and short-term disability and life insurance.
